please remember to keep the last five minutes before the services, and especially the time during the administration of Holy Communion,

for quiet prayer and reflection (a bell will be rung before the main service at Sherburn)

•  Sunday 9 December, 12.30pm:  Sherburn Grand Christmas Draw.  Tickets now available from Ken to sell, and more prizes for the draw would be most welcome please.

 

•  Friday 14 December, 7.00pm:  Knottingley Brass Band concert in Sherburn church. Tickets from Caroline, £10 including wine & nibbles.

 

•  Sunday 16 December, 6.30pm:  Candlelight Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Sherburn, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. Donations of mince pies gratefully received – please tell Angie if you can help.

 

•  Mondays 7.30pm-9.00pm: Sherburn Ecumenical Home Fellowship, this week at Peter & Sylvia Earnshaw's, 16 Showfield Close, led by Catherine Staton, subject Revelation 7.  All are welcome.
